In the short time that Restaurant Omakase has been open, 27 year old chef/owner Brein Clements has changed Riverside’s culinary scene. Since 2006 Chef Brein has been honored with two stars from the Los Angeles Times, received high praise from AAA’s Westway Magazine and shown off his culinary skills at the James Beard Foundation in New York City.
Restaurant Omakase provides a spontaneous tasting menu using seasonal produce grown locally in the Reeves Family Organic Garden especially for Chef Brein. With the help of the Reeves family, Chef Brein is able to work with produce pick fresh from the ground each day.
Another important community relationship Chef Brein has made is with The Citrus Varity Collection at the University of California Riverside. Along with Tracy Kahn, curator, Brein showcases hundreds of different varieties of locally grown citrus each year. Including varieties never before served in restaurants.
The vision for Restaurant Omakase is to not only provide a memorable meal, but to create an entire experience redefining the conventional theory of fine dining. We invite you to join us in our intimate 40 seat dining room and see what all the critics are talking about!
